The Slovakian Agrokomplex Nitra and the Ukrainian Kiev International Contract Fair have joined to Centrex Union
CENTREX International Exhibition Statistics Union has sat for her second Board of Directors meeting this year in Poznan. It was an extended meeting like in Brno in February and in Kielce in June 2001.
It was expanded from two points of view:
The one was that the Board of Directors meeting had two invited guests, two potential CENTREX members: Agrokomplex Nitra which has become market leader in Slovakia by now and Kiev Contract Fair from Ukraine (thanks to the "opening" of Euroindex Kiev last year.)
The meeting has covered an interim report on 1st Central East Exhibition Forum Workshop on Trends, Future Building Fair Industry to be held in Budapest 25-27 September, 2002. The range of the participants will come from project and marketing managers of building fairs, experts of building industry as well as directors and experts of fair industry. It reckons with appr. 50 participants from 12 countries.
The other point was the international seminar that was held the second day with the title: "The presence and the Future of Trade Fair Industry".
The participants of the seminar came from significant fair organisers of Central East Europe; the members of CENTREX, the members of Polish Trade Fair Corporation and some exhibition organisers from Ukraine.
The seminar had a VIP guest in the person of Dr. Hermann Kresse, the Executive Director of AUMA. He has presented the participants a lecture with title of 'Challenges for the Exhibition Industry'. The invitation was the first instance of the implementation of the Agreement between CENTREX and AUMA regarding to an institutional collaboration signed this May in Wiesbaden in the occasion of AUMA Fair Forum.
