The first interregional collaboration agreement of CENTREX

The first interregional collaboration agreement of CENTREX Union has been signed with AUMA (Association of the German Trade Fair Industry) at the 2002 AUMA German Exhibition Forum recently.

Institutionalising and reinforcing the occasional collaboration started in the 90ies and with special relation to the coming Enlargement of the European Union both organisations envisaged the need to widen the cooperation between them in order to better serve their respective economies.

With this agreement both AUMA and CENTREX recognise the special impact of the German trade fair industry as a world leader towards the Central Eastern European (CEE) region. The two organisations shall support each other in their activities for the trade fair industry, they continuously exchange their rich trade fair know how, inform each other the exhibition survey results and their relevant plans for respective future projects.

CENTREX will provide AUMA with extensive information (results, statistics, programmes) concerning its members and of exhibition markets of the other CEE countries.

AUMA will incorporate relevant trade fair data in its data base, covering trade fairs and exhibitions on a world wide basis.

Both organisations will use their events to support the partner's marketing efforts - relating both AUMA's annual "GERMAN TRADE FAIR FORUM" and CENTREX. professional meetings (seminars, workshops) - mutual participation, lectures, presentations, availability of information to all their members.

Both organisations will use the high efficiency of the Internet providing direct linkage between their respective Web-sites providing easy access to the partner know-how.

Another joint interest is the collaboration in the marketing for the trade fairs as a high efficiency medium of doing business. Conducting joint measures aimed at strengthening the medium trade fairs in relation to other information and marketing media shall be also envisaged.
